What We Have Achived
We are proud to state that as one of the Major Stevedores in Chennai Port and VOC Port, we have handled more than 1 MMT / Year since 2009-10. The volume of cargo handled for the period 2009-10 to 2019-20 is 12.5 MMT, which comprises of 6.8 MMT food grains and pulses, 5.7 MMT of dry bulk cargo, 15.45 lakhs CBM of wooden logs besides about 4 lakhs containers [TEUs] in CFS.
The Port Authorities, Customs and various Trade Associations have recognised our services and have conferred us with many awards. We have received the coveted Award from the then Hon’ble Union Minister of Shipping Shri.T.R.Balu in 2007 for handling the maximum number of vessels under our Steamer Agency for FY2006-07 and from Chairman of VOC Port for 2007-08,and 2008-09. We added one more feather in our cap when we received award from the then Hon’ble Union Minister of Shipping, Shri.G.K.Vasan in 2013 for exporting highest volume of construction materials for 4 consecutive years from 2009-10,20010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13.
